Lunker Rules

1. You must be registered in the tournament and have paid the entry fee, as well as the additional $5 lunker bonus fee to qualify.

2. All participants in the boat must be registered in the tournament and to qualify for the lunker all participants in the boat must be registered for the lunker bonus.

3. Lunker is determined by the weight of an individual fish.

4. You must abide by the tournament rules. You will be required to br present at the conclusion of the Tournament and will be required to take a voice stress analysis prior to receiving cash prize.


Release of Liability
and Assumption of Risk Agreement

The risk of Injury from the activities Involved In this program Is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,

I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation: and,

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS the American Red Cross, its officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and leasors of premises used to conduct the event ("Releasers"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This is to certify that I, as patent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above all the Releasees, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE THE RELEASEES, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Tournament Rules

1. All individuals in the boat must be pre-registered.

2. All winners must produce a valid New York State fishing license.

3. No pre-fishing before the contest starts will be allowed.

4. Contestants under the age of 18 may enter and fish with a registered adult providing both the minor and parent/legal guardian read, understand and sign an entry/waiver form.

5. All contestants and others hereby consent to the use of any names, photographs or likenesses of themselves to be used in promotion of our contest, including, but not limited to print, radio, television or any other media.

6. All First place winners will be required to take a voice stress analysis test prior to receiving payment. All other participants will be randomly selected to take the test at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Any participant no passing the test will be disqualified. Decision of the tester is final. All truth verification testing is performed by Daniel O'Brien Investigators.

7. A tissue sample may be required from any winning fish to determine its homebody of water. Presenting a fish for weigh-in that was caught outside of sanctioned tournament waters will result in immediate disqualification.

8. All winners must be present at close of tournament to claim payment and they will be asked to present a valid form of ID. If you will be unable to be present at close of tournament, payment arrangements can be made by contacting Joel at the Chapter Office at (607)734-3317.

9. In the event of a tie, the earliest weighed fish will win.

10. Presenting a fish with any foreign object in it will result in participant being disqualified.

11. Please not weigh station closing times. Only those participants who are in line at the weigh-in prior to closing time are qualified for the weigh in. There will be no exceptions for late arrivals on either day.

12. Anyone displaying poor sportsmanship, breaking local, state or federal laws of violating any of the rules of this tournament will be subject to disqualification. Any contestant or observer witnessing a violation of the rules is required to immediately report the alleged violation to a Tournament official. Tournament officials on-site will make any decisions concerning disqualification. Protests must be received at time of weigh-in, no exceptions.

All decisions of tournament will be final.
